What is the Young Executive Series?
The Young Executive Series (Y.E.S.) is a 10 month program where 30-40
managers of MTI member companies meet for four 1 ½ day sessions. These
sessions provide intensive and engaging training by The Afterburner Group in
the areas of team building, systems anagement, how to deal with task
saturation and implementation of flawless execution in your business.
Managers will also experience a full-day session on learning conflict
resolution and communication skills in dealing with the variety of
personalities a manager comes in contact with. Participants are also
required to complete 2 intensive MTI Online Academy courses on Leadership
and Management and one on Cost Accounting for Heat Treating. Participants
also build an incredible network of peers who will become friends for life.
The program also includes leadership training and a comprehensive plant
tours of a local MTI members. The Y.E.S. program is for any MTI company
manager who is aiming for the next level in his/her personal growth within
the company. Without question, these four sessions are guaranteed to
transform a manager’s business life.
